Geoff Johns' first issue of the newly rebooted Green Lantern #1, for instance, actually CONTINUED a plot line from Johns' previous Green Lantern series, which followed Johns' Green Lantern: Rebirth with artist Ethan Van Sciver that saw Hal Jordan return to becoming Green Lantern (and artists Doug Mahnke, Christian Alamy and Tom Nguyen remained on the series from the final issue of previous volume).
